They relocated to Madrid, Spain, in 1964 where he lived until 1979. In June, 1983, he received a degree in Semiotics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. In the fall of that year, he moved to Los Angeles where he hoped to land a job in the film industry. Instead, he landed on a friend's couch, started painting, and decided that a career as an artist was more his calling. Now he still lives in Los Angeles with his wife Deirdre and their newborn baby daughter, <A HREF="baby.html">Galatea</A>.</h3><P> <h3>His artwork, analog and digital, can be seen at Newspace and the William Turner Gallery in Los Angeles, Rita Dean Gallery in San Diego and Galeria Ignacio Varez in Madrid, Spain. </h3><P> <h3><A HREF="mendoza.html">Putrid Afterthought</A> and <a href="Crime/archives.html">Internet Crime Archives</a> were created using Photoshop and a Macintosh computer. All images came from magazines, newspapers, art books, postcards and pornography. These sites are meant to be browsed using Netscape.
